Captain Bin Obaid has embraced an educative and a practical experience for more than 27 years in Aviation Industry, which comprised a vast knowledge and practice on the level of operations in Emirates Airline where human interaction is part of the daily routine that built a solid base of knowledge in this international sector. Currently, Captain Bin Obaid is holding a position of Deputy Training Manager – Senior Training Captain – Boeing 777 fleet and Training Captain Examiner. He is involved in developing Pilot Proficiency Checks and Syllabus whilst simultaneously lecturing new trainees for their upgrade and command courses. Previously, Captain Bin Obaid was frequently running CRM classes and some technical class as certified Instructor involved in the Human Performance Factors.

Captain Bin Obaid graduated from City University of London October 2009 holding a Master’s Degree in Air Transport Management achieving a number of essential and advanced international recognized Training Courses.

As a part of Captain Bin Obaid’s passion and dedication towards Aviation, he was a weekly Columnist in Al Bayan Newspaper (Dubai Official Arabic Newspaper) which writes about different aspects of Aviation.

Captain Bin Obaid has a vast experience in International Business, which is part of his career and owns a multiple business since late nineties. He started his journey in the real estate industry and expanded his establishments over the years to cover various industries.

He is a shareholder in Three Sixty Holding Limited and in the various companies described above. Over the last 23 years, Captain Bin Obaid has built up more than six separate businesses from green field and managed to achieve a great success in each one of them. Captain Bon Obaid’s track record and business acumen will be one of the most important assets to help start and develop upcoming projects.

He is recognized for being a great athlete as who won H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Sport Certificate for Physical Fitness.

At the time being, he is working on his PhD Research Proposal on “Contemporary Human Factor Aspect of Automation in Aviation” from Coventry University under Emirates Aviation Collage, in parallel to completing Executive Leadership Development Program by October 2023.
